A map of toronto divided by districts, and each is coloured in shades of red and orange

Home Prices in the GTA

Used R to scrape pdf reports and automatically update a database that feeds a map. I also built the map and the dashboard, which is a tool for readers to see changes in home prices.

An image of the White house and the sky has images representing tweets

US Election Candidate's Tweet Analysis

As a fun take on the 2020 US presidential election I used the Twitter api to download a colection of tweets from the candidates. Using NLP algorithm I analyzed the tweets which generated a dashboard using graphics built with D3.JS

An illustration of glass that has been broken by a gunshot, and the broken pieces of the glass have different images in them

Toronto Violence Mapped

Using the Twitter api I downloaded all tweets from Toronto Police Services. Parsing through the tweets I generated coordinates for violent incidents in Toronto. Then used Javascript and a few other libraries to generate a few maps that diplayed the data in many different ways

A collection of hexagons in different shades of green, grey and orange

Gender Representation in City Councils

Generated graphics for an investigation on gender equality in city councils across Canada using a few JavaScript libraries

An illustration of Donald Trump's head over a red background

Trump or Not

Created a fun website that tests the user on their knowledge of Trump. Using an api that returns a quote, the user decides on whether it is a real or a fake quote while keeping track of the score

A blue and a green couch partialy appear in the frame, and there is a vertical yellow line in the background

Sanctuary Helpers

Built a multi-page website from a design while adhering to the design brief, and using sass to keep all styling consistent across all pages
